Homewave Solutions successfully deployed a Hytera Smart Dispatch Communication System for the Narok County Government, creating a fully integrated dispatch and monitoring platform that connects multiple field units, vehicles, and control centers.
Before this project, county departments relied on fragmented communication channels that made coordination difficult during emergencies, logistics operations, and inter-departmental tasks. Homewave’s solution introduced a centralized digital dispatch system built on Hytera DMR and Smart Dispatch technology, enabling seamless voice, data, and GPS communication across the county.
The project included:
- Installation and configuration of Hytera Smart Dispatch software.
- Integration of base radios, mobile units, and portable devices into a unified network.
- Setup of a GPS tracking dashboard for real-time monitoring of county vehicles and staff.
- Training sessions for dispatch operators and technical teams on system use and maintenance.
The new dispatch console enables two-way communication, live location tracking, text messaging, voice recording, and alarm alerts, ensuring instant communication between field teams and command centers. It also supports call playback, geofencing, and incident logging, allowing Narok County to enhance operational accountability and emergency response time.
The system’s scalability means it can easily expand to accommodate future county services such as disaster response, medical rescue coordination, and security operations.
