Homewave Solutions was honored to partner with Lewa Wildlife Conservancy during World Rangers Day to deliver a specialized training program for wildlife rangers, focusing on tactical communication, field safety, and equipment handling.
The training aimed to enhance the rangers’ ability to coordinate efficiently across the vast conservation area while ensuring real-time communication during patrols, anti-poaching missions, and emergency response operations. Participants were introduced to the use of two-way radio systems, GPS-enabled dispatch tools, and portable repeater units—all critical in maintaining secure and continuous field connectivity.
The hands-on sessions included radio protocol drills, frequency management, and maintenance workshops, allowing rangers to gain practical confidence in operating both handheld and vehicle-mounted communication systems. Our technical team demonstrated how robust digital radio solutions—like those powered by Hytera and Motorola technologies—can support conservation security efforts even in challenging terrain.
The event also celebrated the dedication of Kenya’s frontline conservation heroes. Beyond technical training, our focus was on strengthening communication discipline, teamwork, and rapid decision-making—key aspects of modern ranger operations.
Through this project, Homewave reinforced its commitment to supporting Kenya’s conservation sector with dependable, field-ready communication infrastructure that empowers rangers to protect wildlife safely and effectively
